I think the qualities of early morning are underrated. Awakening in the dark and making that first cup of coffee, while almost everyone else is sleeping, has a certain quality of stolen time about it. The quiet is healing and excellent preparation for the melee that is to come. It is a time to think, write, read, meditate, and to plan.
It is also a time for creative work.
